"Special attention, however, should be paid to Juliana von Haubrich’s bare-bones set design. It’s far removed from the elaborate, almost hyper-naturalistic sets concocted by David Zinn for Ms. Neugebauer’s Broadway production, which took so long to change that they slowed the show down noticeably and disadvantageously. Here, by contrast, each scene dissolves into the next so unobtrusively that there is never any loss of momentum."
